“Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign”

Organised by: NSS Units of Maharishi University of Information Technology in association with IQAC
Objective: NSS Units of Maharishi University of Information Technology in association with IQAC organized an awareness and participation programme on 13th august 2026 under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. The primary objective of the campaign was to encourage students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff to actively participate in the national initiative and promote a sense of patriotism, national pride, and respect for the Indian National Flag.

Event Details: The programme commenced with the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Bhanu Pratap Singh, leading the parade while carrying the National Flag with all respective Deans symbolizing patriotism, unity, and respect for the nation. The initiative encouraged students and members of the university community to celebrate the spirit of independence and strengthen their emotional connection with the nation.
Dr. Sapan Asthana highlighted the significance of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, respect for the national flag, nation-building, de-addiction, youth empowerment, and the role of youth in a developed India.
A ‘Tiranga Yatra’ (Tricolour procession) was taken out from the university campus to the Raipur Hanuman Temple on IIM Road. Several university officials, faculty members, and NSS volunteers—including Dr. Ram Prakash Dixit and Dr. Sugat Shukla—were present at the event.
Feedback: The campaign provided an opportunity for participants to celebrate the spirit of independence and reflect upon the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. The enthusiastic participation demonstrated the collective spirit and commitment of the MUIT community towards promoting national pride and responsible citizenship.
