     Educational Visit

Objective: The students of Maharishi School of Agriculture organised an educational visit on 1st August 2026, in association with IQAC. The visit was thoughtfully organized to provide students with meaningful field exposure and a deeper understanding of contemporary agricultural practices as part of their Orientation Program for upcoming Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) course which is an essential requirement of their curriculum.

Participating Students-Students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture VII Semester

Visit Details: On reaching the centre, the students were warmly welcomed by Dr. Archana Singh, Scientist (Home Science) and Head, KVK. She introduced them to the various extension activities and training programmes conducted by the centre for the benefit of farmers and rural communities. Dr. Ratna Sahay, Scientist (Soil Science), shared practical knowledge on soil health, soil testing, and nutrient management, highlighting the importance of scientific soil practices in sustainable agriculture. The students also interacted with Dr. Ramesh Chandra Maurya, Scientist (Agricultural Engineering), who demonstrated the use of modern agricultural machinery and explained how farm mechanization helps improve efficiency and productivity

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real-life agricultural practices, making the experience both informative and inspiring.The educational visit was coordinated by Dr. Dheeraj Yadav and Dr. Ankit Singh Yadav, Assistant Professors, Maharishi School of Agriculture, Maharishi University of Information Technology Lucknow, who guided the students throughout the visit and encouraged them to actively engage with the experts and gain practical knowledge.

Students’ feedback: The visit enhanced the students' confidence and encouraged them to explore the practical applications of agricultural science. They appreciated the opportunity to learn directly from experts in a real-world setting, and familiarize with the surroundings before the commencement of their RAWE Course.
