Objective: The Maharishi School of Sciences, MUIT Lucknow Campus, in association with IQAC, successfully organized “Punardarshna–2026”, a memorable farewell celebration for the final-year students of B.Sc. and M.Sc. programs on 20 May 2026.The program was organized to bid a warm farewell to the outgoing students, celebrate their academic journey and achievements, and motivate them for a successful future while strengthening their bond with the institution.
Participating Students: All students of Maharishi School of Sciences.
Event Details: The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and Ganesh Vandana, setting a positive and graceful tone for the farewell celebration. The event featured engaging cultural performances, enjoyable activities, and heartfelt moments, creating a memorable farewell for the outgoing students. It served as a wonderful occasion to celebrate togetherness, achievements, and the cherished journey at MUIT. During the program, Dr. Nishant Kumar (Dean, MSOS) motivated students by emphasizing the importance of time management and smart work in achieving success in life and career. Dr. Neeraj Jain (Dean Academics) conveyed her best wishes to the students for a successful career and a bright future ahead.
The cultural segment of the event showcased the creativity, talent, and enthusiasm of the students through a variety of performances. Anupam Singh (M.Sc. Biotechnology) captivated the audience with a melodious song performance, while students showcased their talent through ramp walk, solo dance, and group dance performances. Several fun-filled competitions and interactive rounds were organized to highlight the confidence, creativity, and personalities of the outgoing students which also would help to select the Mr. and Ms. Farewell. The performances and activities were evaluated by Dr. Madhu Gupta (Assistant Professor, MSOET) and Mrs. Pragya Tiwari (Deputy Dean, MSOA). Based on their overall personality, participation, and performance in various activities, Suryansh Srivastava (B.Sc. Biotechnology) and Prasansha Awasthi (B.Sc. Botany) were selected as Mr. Farewell and Miss Farewell, respectively. Gifts and prizes were distributed to participants and winners as tokens of appreciation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Chinta Mani Tiwari (Professor, MSOS), followed by refreshments and a group photograph, leaving everyone with cherished memories of togetherness and celebration.
Students’ Feedback: Students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the school for organizing a memorable farewell. They conveyed thanks to the dignitaries, faculty, and organizers for their efforts in creating a warm, joyful, and unforgettable event that will remain cherished in their memories.
