Farewell Party “Chalte-Chalte”

Organised by: Maharishi School of Business Management in association with IQAC

Objective: The farewell party “Chalte-Chalte” was organized by the Maharishi School of Business Management in collaboration with IQAC for the outgoing students of the school on 23rd May 2026 at the University Ground (near MIIF), MUIT Lucknow Campus. The event was conducted to celebrate the memorable journey of the senior students, acknowledge their achievements, and provide them with a heartfelt send-off filled with joy, gratitude, and cherished memories. The program also aimed to strengthen the bond between senior and junior students while creating a platform for interaction and celebration.

Participating Students: All students of Maharishi School of Business Management.

Event Details: The venue was beautifully decorated, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere for the celebration.

The event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the beginning of a memorable occasion. This was followed by an inspiring address by Dr. Neeraj Jain, Dean Academics, who encouraged the outgoing students to embrace future opportunities with confidence and determination while upholding the values and knowledge gained during their academic journey at the university.

Following the addresses, a graceful Ganesh Vandana was presented by Divyanshi Yadav (B. Com. II Semester), seeking blessings for the success and prosperity of all students. The cultural segment then began with an elegant ramp walk by the outgoing students providing them an opportunity to showcase their confidence and celebrate their final moments on campus.

The event featured a variety of entertaining performances including duo dance performances by Rimjhim Mishra (BBA II Semester) and Falak Zubair (BBA VI Semester); Aviral Mishra (BBA II Semester) and Anubhavi Srivastava (MBA II Semester), Group dance performances by Rimjhim Mishra (BBA II Semester), Divyanshi Yadav (B. Com. II Semester), Harshita Singh (B.Com. II Semester), Tanya (BBA II Semester), Vaisnavi Pandey (BBA II Semester); a skit by Vishal Yadav (BBA IV Semester), Aviral Mishra (BBA II Semester), Km. Anju (B. Com. II Semester), Chandan Singh Bisht (MBA II Semester), and solo performances by Raj Maurya (MBA IV Semester) and Sourabh Agnihotri (MBA II Semester). These performances captivated the audience and created a lively and emotional atmosphere throughout the program.

A sumptuous lunch was organized for all attendees, allowing students, faculty members, and guests to interact and share memories together.

After lunch, Dr. Sandhya Sinha, Dean, MSOBM, addressed the gathering and conveyed her heartfelt wishes to the outgoing students. She motivated them to pursue excellence in their professional and personal lives and encouraged them to remain connected with their alma mater.

The event continued with fun-filled games and activities specially organized for the outgoing students. In the Hook Step Girls Competition, Nancy Rawat (B.Com. VI Semester) emerged as the winner, while in the Paper Dance Competition, Raj Maurya (MBA IV Semester) and Anurag Singh (MBA IV Semester) secured the winning position.

The much-awaited results were announced amidst great excitement, with Akiv Javed (MBA) being honoured as Mr. Farewell, Reetu Singh (MBA) as Ms. Farewell, Gaurav Chaudhary (BBA) as the King, and Vaishnavi Singh (BBA) as the Queen of the evening; the announcement was met with loud cheers and enthusiastic applause from the audience, making the occasion even more memorable and joyous for everyone present.

The event concluded on a mesmerising and emotional note with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Priyanka Chowdhary, event coordinator, who expressed gratitude to the university administration, faculty members, student coordinators, volunteers, anchors, participants, and all those who contributed to make the farewell celebration a grand success. The farewell proved to be a wonderful blend of emotions, entertainment, appreciation, and togetherness, leaving behind cherished memories for both senior and junior students.

Students’ Feedback: The students described the farewell party as an exceptionally enjoyable and memorable experience. The outgoing students appreciated the efforts of the organizing committee, volunteers, anchors, and junior students for making the event special and emotionally meaningful. The event strengthened interpersonal bonds and created lifelong memories for everyone present.
