Inter-University Letter Writing Competition
“एक पत्र स्वयं के नाम : अन्वेषण अंतर्मन का”

Objective: The Literary Committee of MUIT Lucknow Campus in association with IQAC, organized an Inter-University Letter Writing Competition titled “एक पत्र स्वयं के नाम : अन्वेषण अंतर्मन का” on 23rd May 2026 to promote self-reflection, creativity, and emotional expression among students through the art of letter writing.
Event Details: The event commenced with an enthusiastic response, drawing participation from more than 80 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various universities and colleges who were encouraged to express their thoughts, emotions, and self-reflections through creative letter writing in either Hindi or English.
The competition was judged by Dr. Monica Awasthi (Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, A. P. Sen Memorial Girls Degree College, Lucknow), Mr. Anand Kumar Gupta (Asst. Prof. MSOSOC), Ms. Shailly Singh (MSOH) and Dr. Dheeraj Yadav (Dean- MSOA). The first prize was awarded to Shalini Chauhan (MSOH, MUIT Lucknow Campus), who received a cash prize of ₹5,100. The second prize was secured by Varun Shukla (University of Lucknow, Lucknow) with a cash award of ₹3,100, while the third prize was won by Anmol Maurya (GCRC, Lucknow), who received ₹1,100 and Saniya Bano (MSOET, MUIT Lucknow Campus) received the consolation prize. In addition to the cash awards, the winners were presented with mementos and certificates. All participants were also awarded with certificates of participation in appreciation of their enthusiastic involvement and efforts.
Dr. Vijay Srivastava and Dr. Madhu Gupta convened the programme. The event was graced by the presence of Honorable Vice – Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) B. P. Singh, Dr. Neeraj Jain (Dean Academics) and Dr. Rupam Singh (Dean MSOH).
Students’ Feedback: Students thoroughly enjoyed their experience of the thought-provoking competition. Both internal and external participants expressed their gratitude to the institution for providing a platform to articulate their deep-seated thoughts and self-reflections through letter writing.
