Industrial Visit to M.K.A. Remedies Pvt. Ltd., Sitapur

Organised by: Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, in association with IQAC
Objective: The visit to MKA Remedies Pvt. Ltd., Sitapur was organised on 2nd May 2026 by Maharishi School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in association with IQAC. The industrial visit was organised with the objective of providing practical exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices. The visit also aimed to familiarise students with real-time operations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements followed in the pharmaceutical industry.
Participating Students: B. Pharm 8th Semester students.
Visit Details: During the visit, students were introduced to various aspects of pharmaceutical production including manufacturing processes, quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and packaging systems.
The industry experts Mr. Vijay Kumar (QA and QC Head), Mr. Sushil Kumar (Production Manager) provided detailed insights into the workflow of pharmaceutical product development, starting from raw material handling to final product packaging. Special emphasis was laid on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, hygiene standards, and proper documentation procedures followed in the industry.
Students were guided through different departments like QC, QA and packaging, allowing them to observe machinery, production lines, and quality testing laboratories. The experts also explained the importance of regulatory compliance and maintaining product quality and safety standards in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
This visit significantly enhanced students’ understanding of industrial operations and helped them relate their academic knowledge to real-world applications. The program was successfully coordinated by Dr. Pavan Kumar (Dean, MSOPS) and Mrs. Saumya Srivastava (Assistant Professor, MSOPS)
Students’ Feedback: The students found the industrial visit highly informative and engaging. They appreciated the opportunity to observe pharmaceutical manufacturing processes firsthand and gain practical insights into QA, QC, and GMP practices. The interaction with industry professionals helped clarify many theoretical concepts and inspired students to prepare for future roles in the pharmaceutical sector.
