“Techfluence: A Workshop on Technical and Soft Skills”

Objective: The Maharishi School of Business Management, MUIT Lucknow campus has organised “Techfluence: A Workshop on Technical and Soft Skills” from 17th Feb to 21st Feb. The primary objective of the workshop was to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice by providing students with a holistic set of technical and soft skills. The program was aimed to cultivate professional excellence through comprehensive sessions on emotional intelligence, leadership, and effective communication, while simultaneously building technical proficiency in high-demand tools such as Advanced Excel, Zoho Books, and Shopify. Furthermore, the workshop aimed to prepare participants for the future of work by introducing generative AI tools to emerged students as tech-enabled leaders.
Participating Students: Final Year Students of BBA, B.Com, MBA and M.Com
Event Details: On 17th Feb 2026, The five-day workshop was inaugurated with a traditional Gurupujan and lamp lighting to invoke wisdom and success for all participants. Each session was preceded by a visionary welcome address from Dean, MSOBM, Dr. Sandhya Sinha and the felicitation of guest speakers with a traditional patka and memento as tokens of respect. On the inaugural day, Dr. Paridhi Kishore, Assistant professor, University of Lucknow, explored the "human element" of technology through emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and leadership. This was followed by Director, TechQRT Pvt Ltd, Lucknow, Mr. Akash Srivastava’s technical deep-dives into Advanced Excel data visualization on Day 2 and digital accounting via Zoho Books, including GST online filing, on Day 3. For the final two days, Director, Naya Prayog Technologies, Lucknow, Mr. Harendra Prajapati, a Founder and Lead Engineer who has architected over 10 SaaS platforms, transitioned the focus to digital entrepreneurship and innovation. Leveraging his expertise in Data Science and AI, he guided students through the practical creation of Shopify storefronts, the implementation of cybersecurity tools, and the strategic use of AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini for business development and fintech applications. The high level of students’ engagement in the workshop was further demonstrated on the final day when a large number of students actively registered for the AI Yuva initiative to continue their technical evolution. Every day concluded with a rigorous question and answer session, followed by formal votes of thanks from Dr Babita Dubey, Dr. Pawan Kumar Verma and Dr. Vinay Kumar Yadav.
