Date of the Event: 10th February 2026

Organized by: Maharishi School of Agriculture in association with IQAC

Objective: Maharishi School of Agriculture (MUIT, Lucknow Campus), in association with IQAC, organized a vibrant celebration of World Pulses Day on 10th February 2026, based on the theme “Creative Nutrition, Sustainable Future.” The event aimed to raise awareness about the nutritional, agricultural, and environmental importance of pulses, while inspiring students to understand their contribution to food security, sustainable farming practices, and healthy diets.

Participating Students:  Students from different Schools of MUIT Lucknow Campus.

Event Details: The event began with an introduction by Dr. Bhupesh Kumar Mishra, who emphasized the importance of pulses in ensuring food security, sustainable agriculture, and a healthy lifestyle. Two major competitions were organized — the Pulse Sorting Challenge and the Pulses Mandala Creation Activity. In the sorting challenge, students separated mixed dals and arranged them into different shapes within a fixed time limit, demonstrating precision, teamwork, and effective time management. In the Mandala activity, participants created beautiful artworks such as Lord Ganesha, the map of India, floral designs, and other creative themes using pulses, showcasing exceptional creativity and cultural expression.

The event was organized by Mrs. Pragya Tiwari, Assistant Professor, MSOA, and was judged by Dr. Ramakant, Assistant Professor, MSOS, and Dr. Pawan Kumar Verma, Deputy Dean, MSOBM. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sharvan Kumar, Assistant Professor, MSOA, who expressed gratitude to all the participants, judges, and organizers for making the event a grand success.
